Community Guidelines

OurYearBook is meant to be a warm, respectful space for school memories. These guidelines explain what is welcome, what is not, and how we respond when safety issues arise.

In short: be kind, protect each other's privacy, do not post harmful or unlawful material, and use reporting tools in good faith. OurYearBook is for users aged 16 and over.

Be respectful

Treat classmates and alumni with kindness. Friendly jokes and memories are welcome, but bullying, harassment, threats, humiliation, and dogpiling are not.

Share only what you have the right to share

Only upload photos, messages, and personal details that belong to you or that you have clear permission to post. Respect privacy, consent, and intellectual property.

No harmful or unlawful content

Do not post hate, sexual content involving minors, graphic abuse, impersonation, doxxing, blackmail, scams, or anything illegal or dangerous.

Keep the platform safe

Do not try to bypass moderation, abuse reporting tools, scrape private data, access other accounts, or interfere with the security of the service.

Report problems quickly

If you see abusive content, privacy violations, or safety concerns, report it through the app or contact support so we can review and act promptly.

How moderation works

We may remove content, limit features, suspend accounts, or permanently close access where behaviour puts other users at risk or breaks these guidelines or our Terms of Use.

Appeals and support

If you believe moderation action was taken in error, contact support@ouryearbook.app. We review safety reports and appeals as quickly as we can.
